TOUR HISTORY: In the late 1980′s, before the formation of 311, various 311 band members began performing live in projects such as The Eds, The Westside High Jazz Band, Fish Hippos and Unity. 311′s first show under the name “311″ was on June 10, 1990 opening for the band Fugazi in Omaha, NE.

In the early 90’s, 311 essentially lived on the road, building their grassroots following city by city. In the summer of ’93, 311’s RV and trailer caught fire as the band was on a Missouri highway. Their RV, trailer, equipment and personal belongings burned to the ground. Nonetheless, the band persevered. With borrowed equipment, the band was back on stage the next night for a rockin’ show in Omaha! (article 1, article 2)

Over thirty five years, 311 has played thousands of shows. An amazing feat, but no more amazing than the incredible live show 311 puts on night after night! Along the way, 311 has chosen an impressive list of opening acts on their way up including – Korn, No Doubt, Deftones, Incubus, Sugar Ray, Dirty Heads, Alien Ant Farm, Hoobastank, The Roots and Matisyahu. Also supporting 311 on their summer Unity Tours has been Snoop Dogg, the Offspring, Sublime with Rome, Cypress Hill, and Slightly Stoopid. For a full list of Unity Tour openers, visit 311 also co-headlined the Sprite Liquid Mix Tour with Jay Z. 311 has also shown its diversity by playing the Horde Tour, Warped Tour, Temples of Boom Tour, Liquid Mix Tour, as well as many festivals from Roskilde to Smoke Out to Lollapalooza Chile to radio festivals worldwide.

311 have toured all 50 United States, as well as Canada, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Jamaica, Bahamas, Indonesia, Guam, Panama, Peru, Chile, Brazil, Mexico and much of Europe. 311 would like to give a big shout out to all their fans who have supported the band on the road and helped rock the house!
