I am a HUGE 311 fan and am 38 years old. I have seen the band 46 times over the last 19 years, starting in little clubs and bars here in Orange County CA. Club 5902, the Empire Ballroom, Whisky etc. This 311 day 20 of my friends and I, who have followed them there entire career, were going to charge Vegas and get a skybox but of course those sold out in seconds. Then the server crashes, next day I get on and have a meet-greet VIP ticket in front of me, I am all ready to enter my ccard info, thinking im FINALLY going to meet the guys, after so many shows you feel like you already know them, the screen refreshes and I got shut out again. Then the presale sells out in seconds. On Saturday the ticketmaster tix, gone in 3 minutes. So frustrating as literallty a lifelong fan, i wont be attending the show next year on my bday!!

hey 311 whats going on guys love yaw to death ive been listening to yaw since first grade right at around 15 years or so im only 21 never been to a show but would love to come to one im not asking for tickets just letting you know you guys are special to me because i went out with a girl back in 1st grade that got me listening to yaw but she left shortly after second grade began and havent seen her since then her name was shannon sullivan and she was my first love i know it kin d of sounds corny but i dont care what it sounds like i would just like to let you guys know yaw are the greatest band ever and i will always listen to you guys forever , whats up with coming to the volunteer state tennessee if yaw could come out here i would try my hardest to get tickets i would probably pay double ive always wanted to go to one of yaws concerts i would die a happy man if i could go to one lol yaw take it easy and keep playing that magic

So, I am sure that 311 has reached a point of fame that means that this post is almost arbitrary, but I also know that 311 has grassroots and loves their fans so I'm gonna try anyway. I am sending this to Tim, because he has always been my favorite. I live in Atlanta, Ga, and after loosing four of my highschool friends to flash floods this week I decided to pour my heart and soul into an upcoming charity event to mend my broken heart. My friends and I are hosting an event at a local bar in which we have booked some local bands and artists to perform and donate wrk in order to raise money for a local community center which focuses its energy on providing music lessons and guideance to foster care children and underpriveledged youth. We are not professionals, just a bunch of folks who want to make a difference. My friend created this event out of thin air. It is approaching its third year this december and so far has raised about 2 grand, which is a lot for ameteurs, but not that much. As the ballsy one in the group I agreed to book all of the tallent for the show, hoping to bring in all of the local bands I could, but I wanna go for broke. Since I have been to seventeen 311 shows since 2000 I figured this was a good place to start. I'm not asking for the moon, I just want to help pack the place out so that some unfortunate kid can have his first guitar. If you or your band knows of anyone that wants to help out or even play a show please contact me. I am writing to you to ask a favor. I just married the most amazing man in the world and I would love to surprise him on his birthday. I bought a pair of tickets to the upcoming 311 show at Pechanga. 311 is my husbands favorite band and I know this is going to mean the world to him. I was wondering if there was any way that he could meet the band or just take a picture with you guys.
