HAPPY 3-11 DAY!!!
On 3-11 (March 11), 311 and their fans will again celebrate
3-11 Day. While this year, there is no special show (as
the band is in the studio), we are going to launch some
very special items on the website on 3-11!! Nine new sections
will be added to the PHOTO
Page, featuring 185 new photos from video shoots, live shows
and behind the scenes. Also added will be four
previously unreleased songs to the AUDIO
Page. These unreleased songs are outtakes from the Soundsystem
and Transistor albums. These songs - "Seal The Deal", "Cali
Soca" (instrumental), "Space Funk" (instrumental) and "Old
Funk" (instrumental) will be available for free download
courtesy of 311. And the STORE
Page will launch a special 3-11 Day Store, featuring limited
edition items that we have pulled out of the collector's
closet! In addition, starting on 3-11, we will be sending
out free 311 goods with orders, while supplies last. See
the Store Page section below for more info.
In honor of 3-11 Day, we are also going to select four random
winners from the 311 Email Database to be on 311's Guest
List for two free tickets each for any show on the next
U.S. tour. So if you have not signed up to join the 311

in the April Happenings.

RECORDING NEWS:
311 are currently recording their seventh studio album at
the band's Hive Studios in Los Angeles, with producer Ron
Saint Germain. The band will finish mixing the album in
late March / early April and look to release the record
in late July / early August.
Some song titles include: What Do You Do?, Same Mistake
Twice, Reconsider Everything, Still Dreaming, Other Side
of Things, Crack the Code, Time is Precious, Seems Uncertain,
Creatures For Awhile, Beyond the Gray Sky, Don't Dwell and
a few others to come.

TOURING 2003:
311's tour plans are still in the works, but look for the
band to get back to the road in July. One festival date
has now been confirmed and will be posted on the Tour Page
of the website on 3-11.
311 PAY PER VIEW CONCERT:
Video On Demand will continue to feature the 311 concert
through March. Check your local cable listings for further
info.
The pay-per-view broadcast features interviews with 311,
behind the scenes footage, performance footage of the entire
concert, as well as interviews with celebrity fans. The
concert also includes Alien Ant Farm's first on-stage appearance
since their bus crash - performing "Homebrew" with 311.
