A portion of the proceeds from the VIP packages will go to the Smile Train charity. The New York Times described Smile Train as “one of the most productive charities – dollar for deed – in the world.” Smile Train provides cleft lip and palate surgeries to poor children in developing countries around the world….giving these children a future and a reason to smile.

We are offering the VIP ticket bundles as a way to help ensure that tickets end up in the hands of true fans and not scalpers….and to provide some unique 311 Day experiences for the participants. VIP Ticket Packages will only be available at 311.com, launching with the Wed 10/28 Pre-Sale.

* On March 12, the afternoon after the 311 Day show, access to a secure area to play blackjack w/ 311. There will be 5 blackjack tables. One bandmember and 5 fans at each table. Each player will be given the same amount of free poker chips. Bandmembers will rotate and play 3 hands of blackjack at all 5 tables. The 3 fans with the most chips at the end of the tournament will get prizes as follows: Grand Prize winner, gets a free pair of tickets to a 311 summer 2010 show of choice and gets to watch the show from the stage, and two runner up winners get a free pair of tickets to a 311 summer tour 2010 show of choice (excluding any festival) plus a photo pass to shoot photos from the front row photo pit.
