I think you have a point, but at the same time it's probably Nick's arrogance and persistence that got 311 to where they are today.

sometimes i wonder if the rest of the band gets sick of nick. he seems like all to good for everyone now. he has his own buss while others still share. he retires songs and just seems to call all the shots.

I would love this as an opener. isn't it one of those songs that Nick kind of "retired" though?

from chaos is one of my favorite 311 albums, i enjoy every song. definitely don't understand any criticism it receives.

Yeah I don't feel the song is immature at all. Though I did hear that they were trying to do like another freak out with this song and over time nick just didnt feel it was up to par. To me it's very up to par as is the whole from chaos album that seems to get hated on for reasons i'll never know.

If I remember correctly, Nick said it was kind of an immature song that he really didn't care for. I wouldn't count on it getting played at any event other than MAYBE 311 day.
