uncalm, tribute, random,sweet, purpose, 123, homebrew, 8:16am, nix hex(live), freeze time, today my love, summer of love, use of time, RUNNING, stealing happy hours, visit, from chaos, give me a call, speak easy, rub-a-dub, beautiful disaster, electricity, omaha stylee, loco, and hive....I think that those somewhat random songs covers them widely. a lil bit of all thier styles and techniques.

Well, of course you have to include Down. But then it gets hard. I would include Omaha Stylee and Hydroponic because I think they represent the Grassroot sound well. Then you need to include Do You Right and Fat Chance. Probably throw in Nix Hex. Even though its from the EP, put in Slinky. Solar Flair would be nice from DTOM. Transistor is an enjoyable track. If the person is a bassist, then Nutsymptom is a necessity. First Straw is a pretty uplifting song and helps me feel good when I'm down, so that is probably a good one. Oh Ya! You got to throw in Beautiful Disaster.

These are all generally singles and better known songs, but then again, its a sampler mix. And I'm sure I have missed a tun. Just throw in all the songs that you think represent all of 311's different styles well.

this reminds me of making 311 mixes for ol girls who had no idea about them.. it's a tough one. depends on his tastes. if he's into harder musik i'd do a lot from music- WWIT, don't stay home, salsa, omaha stylee. if he likes more obscure obviously hook up the transistor.. light years, ect. throw in whiskey and wine, i'll be here awhile, life's not a race, nix hex and couple of your personal favorites (well that's what i always end up doing)
